7,936 PointsHow do you select child elements of html tags with JavaScript?
<nav> <ul> <li>item 1</li> <li>item 2</li> <li>item 2</li> </ul> </nav>
How can I select the list items in javaScript and add them to a variable, without using classes or id's? I have tried using .getElementsByTagName('nav'); and querySelectorAll('nav');. I can't seem to think of another way to do this though.
let navigationLinks = document.querySelectorAll('nav');

231,248 PointsA descendant selector (where the containing element selector is separated from the target element selector with a space) might be useful here.
And remember that links are represented by anchor ("a") elements.

231,248 PointsThe "li" isn't necessary, just "nav a
" will do.
