You forgot to provide a link to the course page, but the basic idea of creating a link to a place on the same page is to give the target element an "id" attribute, then create a link and for the "href" value, supply the id with a "#" symbol in front. For example:

<a href="#sample">Click here to go to sample</a>

<!-- ... -->

<h1 id="sample">Sample Area</h1>

does not work
