How do I use the string formatter to replace <your name>?

String firstname = "Rodolfo"; console.printf("%s can code in Java!, firstName");

Name.java
// I have setup a java.io.Console object for you named console
String firstName = "Rodolfo";
console.printf("%s can code in Java!\n, firstName");

Good Afternoon Rodolfo,

When you enclose your variable in quotes it is considered part of the String. Move the quotes and your program should work fine.

console.printf("%s can code in Java!\n", firstName);

Thanks Mark! It can get hard to find small mistakes like that.

Good Evening Rodolfo,

Once upon a time I was a brand new and needed lots of help. Someday you will be helping others who are just getting started. I still have a lot to learn still. Glad to have been able to help you.

Best Wishes,

Mark
