Hi there,

The challenge directions are as follows: Define a string variable named firstName that stores your name. Set the value to your name.

So let's break that down.

  • Define a string variable
String;
  • named firstName
String firstName;
  • that stores your name. Set the value to your name.
String firstName = "Edwin";

There's Step 1 finished.

Step 2 will require you to use the console variable it mentions, and use a particular function - that will start like

String firstName = "Edwin";
console.printf();

but you'll need to put in what to print. See if you can take it from here!
