How do I solve challenge task 2?

Challenge task 2 is: Set the text content of the <a> element with the ID to the value stored in inputValue.

app.js
var inputValue=document.getElementById('linkName').value
inputValue=text('link')
index.html
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
    <head>
        <title>DOM Manipulation</title>
    </head>
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="style.css" />
    <body>
        <div id="content">
            <label>Link Name:</label>
            <input type="text" id="linkName">
            <a id="link" href="https://teamtreehouse.com"></a>
        </div>
        <script src="app.js"></script>
    </body>
</html>

So you need to select the <a> which is: document.getElementById("link")

Then take the stored value and insert it by using: .innerHTML = inputValue;

End code should look like this document.getElementById("link").innerHTML = inputValue;
