831 PointsHow do I see if one string equals another string?
The video I watched before this exercise shows me how to see if it equals "dork" which is text input. But it doesn't show me what I need to do to see if one string equals another string. I typed in "secondExample" but that didn't work. Then I did it without "" and that also didn't work. Please help.
// I have imported a java.io.Console for you, it is named console.
String firstExample = "hello";
String secondExample = "hello";
String thirdExample = "HELLO";
if (firstExample.equals(secondExample)) {
console.printf ("first is equal to second. \n\n");
System.exit(0);
}

231,261 PointsThe instructions ask you to print the message, but not to exit afterwards. The comparison is good, but the exit is causing an issue in the checking system. Remove that and you should pass the challenge.
