Hello!
So i've been trying to return the variable from the function as the task is asking me to do but it's not working. D: What am I doing wrong? Thank you for your time-any help is appreciated! ^_^

return newDate().getFullYear
}

1,721 PointsThink about what the getYear() function is returning when called. The last part of the quiz wants you to call the getYear() function and store it's return value to a variable called 'yearToday'. When you call the function, it should look like the following:
var yearToday = getYear();
And to further clarify, the return statement in the function should look like:
return new Date().getFullYear();
A new Date() object is being created, the getFullYear() method of that object is accessed, and then that date object is passed back via return to the calling statement (the variable assignment of yearToday). If something's not clear let me know and I will try and explain it better.
