How do I report a bug with what I got. After I changed the checkbox, the css disappeared from the page.

So I was able to fix it. It was the syntax. There was no error and I'll do my best soon here to post my work. Thank you Steve for reaching out!

Nevermind - just figured it out. I had ' instead of " for my type="checkbox" in my html. When I combine that with the single tick ' in the line to create the html in app.js, it threw an error. Got it!

I had a similar problem and also uncovered an issue with syntax. For the benefit of anyone else who might encounter this problem: check your event handler syntax. Make sure it's right!

I am also getting a syntax error on line 4 of app.js const $pdfCheckbox = $('<label><input type='checkbox'> Allow PDF downloads</label>'); DevTools is saying this "Uncaught SyntaxError: missing ) after argument list" but I can't see what is wrong!
