NOTE: This plugin has note been made yet! This question may be incredibly vague but I'm looking for a starting point to start the search for the right questions to be asked, once development starts. Discuss :)
I'm just curious as to how you get a plugin to create a custom post type and then get wordpress to extract the data from it.
I don't want to use the Custom Post Types plugin. This is a fully custom job, from the ground up as it will become a bespoke plugin for a project that is being worked on.
Again, this is just me trying to find a direction to start finding a solution for this problem, once the plugin has begun to be coded. Cheers in advance for your input :)
