CSS CSS Basics (2014) Basic Layout Floats

How do I... give the .secondary-content div the specified class for clearing floats.

So, I get the error Bummer! Make sure you're giving the 'secondary-content' div on line 9 the correct class for clearing floats. But I have searched to understand what it means and have not figured it out. <body> <div class="secondary-content t-border"> <div class="content-lodging"> I have found people saying to "To fix the float collapse happening, just give 'secondary-content' div another class of 'group'." but I don't understand how to go about fixing it to do so. Does anyone have the code needed to link it correctly? I'm stuck! Let me know if there is anything I missed here... Thanks!

Hi Jeremy,

In the css you see some code under clearfix, this code is whats needed to clear floats.
You see it has .group which means it targets any element that has the class of group in it.
So if you add group to the secondary-content then you will make it clear the float.

You just need to add the group class to the secondary-content div.

hi friend in html just add the group as class in this line what i have mentioned

in css there is only left,right,& both options are there

.secondary-content { clear: both; } one's try this code you will definitely success

I thought that was it, I must have missed something. Thanks for the help! Both great answers, but its written out and works so you understand what code is really needed for it to accept the answer on the second one.
