How do I do this on a PC running windows please?

I checked the next video, which continues with the Mac install and set up. Since I don't have a Mac, please direct me to the course I can use. Thanks.

To which course are you referring. It's best to click the "Get Help" directly from the video, as this will link your question to the course and section you are having issues with.

I'm sorry, Jason. I'm new to treehouse--I thought I did come in from the video. Thanks for educating me about that. The video shows how to download and set up MAMP for working with wordpress on a local computer. Is MAMP used on Windows also or is another program used? Since these videos only reference Mac, Zac could say "If using (name of OS) go to these videos." Thanks for your help.

Hey Dee,

MAMP actually stands for "Mac Apache MySql PHP" so if you want something for windows, you will need either WAMP or XAMPP. To install WAMP you can watch this PHP Workshop. If you want XAMPP the install video is here.

I run strictly Macs, so I'm not able to tell you which one/way is better, but I did find a Stack Overflow thread that may help choose.

Hope this helps. :dizzy:

Thanks for your help, Jason. I've been away, sorry I didn't answer sooner.
