Python Basic Object-Oriented Python Welcome to OOP Creating a Panda Class

How do I create a correct class attribute?

I typed species and food in their exact variable under the class but it isn't working.

panda.py
# insert your code here
class Panda:
    species='Ailuropoda melanoleuca'
    food='bamboo'

Hi ks13! I think the checker may be confused by the spacing in your code.

I ran this code, and it passed the challenge:

class Panda:
    species = "Ailuropoda melanoleuca"
    food = "bamboo"

Notice the spacing between "species" "=" and "Ailuropoda melanoleuca'"
