12,034 PointsIt looks like you got everything right, you just forgot to close off your select tag. Take a look at the code below :)
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
<meta charset="utf-8">
<title>HTML Forms</title>
</head>
<body>
<form action="index.html" method="post">
<h1>Shirt Order Form</h1>
<label for= "color"> Shirt Color</label>
<select id= "color" name= "shirt_color">
<option value= "red"> Red </option>
<option value= "yellow"> Yellow </option>
<option value= "Purple"> Purple </option>
<option value= "Blue"> Blue </option>
<option value= "Green"> Green </option>
<option value= "Orange"> Orange </option>
</select>
<button type= "submit"> Place Order </button>
</form>
</body>

14,099 PointsI made the same mistake. Perhaps the feedback could be updated to say something to the effect of, "Did you close your select tag?" instead of "You need to add a <button> element within the form." :)
