How come this course covers Serialization instead of Parcelables?

Serialization is deprecated on Android in favor of the use of Parcelables. How come the course covers Serialization over Parcelables and can Parcelables be completely replaced by Parcelables outside of the context of Android?

1 Answer

My guess is because that is something that is covered in the Android courses.
