How can I write an interpolated string when the constant "greeting" has not been assigned a string saying "Hi there, "?

This is wrong...how can I fix it?

strings.swift
// Enter your code below

let name = "Dustin"
let greeting = "Hi there, "
let interpolatedGreeting = "\(greeting) \(name)"

PROPOSED QUESTION In this task we're going to declare two strings. First, declare a constant named name and assign to it a String containing your name.

Second, declare a constant named greeting. Set the value of greeting to an interpolated string that combines "Hi there, " with the string stored in the name constant.

As an example, the final value of greeting could be "Hi there, Linda".

Sorry was trying to properly format the response:

let name = "Dustin" let greeting = "Hi there, (name)"

Sorry, still having trouble learning to type code into my answers. Last one didn't show the backward slash before (name)" Will try again. Thanks for your patience!

let name = "Dustin"

let greeting = "Hi there, \(name)"

Hi Dustin,

The interpolated string must come in the second constant you created. Notice that the challenge is asking you to combine the second constant with the first.

an interpolated string that combines "Hi there, " with the string stored in the name constant.

For example, if I want to combine a constant with another one, I'd do something like this:

let first = "Sushi"
let combined = "I could live on eating only \(first)"

Hope this helps!

let name = "Kellington" let greeting = "Hi there, (name)"

let finalGreeting = greeting + ". How are you?"
