How can I resolve "Cannot resolve symbol 'tika'"?? [SOLVED]

Added dependency to my pom file: <dependency> <groupId>org.apache.tika</groupId> <artifactId>tika-core</artifactId> <version>1.22</version> <type>pom</type> </dependency>

then import: import org.apache.tika.Tika.*;

continue to get same error: Cannot resolve symbol 'tika'"

I've tried about everything I can find online. Please help.

I figured this out...just removed: <type>pom</type>
