How can I get a shadow effect inside a picture?

Hello, can anyone tell me how to get a shadow effect going across a picture inside a jumbotron?

I assume you're looking for an inset box shadow? I would take a look at this from CSS-Tricks: CSS Box Shadow. I would also look at the CSS box-shadow properties, found on w3schools.com to get a better idea of how box shadows work and what values you can apply. Hope this helps!

Hey thank you for responding! Actually, I am trying to make a transparent, linear gradient go from top left to bottom center, I just don't know how to achieve that since I am still learning. How can I go getting this effect?

I would take a look at CSS Gradients. I haven't really used them much, so I don't know much about them.
