Not quite sure what you are asking here but in relation to WordPress the Home page (aka home.php) is the main blog roll for your site, this is often used for new, events and other general posts.
If you are asking what to put on your front page that is different, people often use the Home (Landing, Front) page of a site for introductions to products and services, contact information and other meaningful information.
Honestly the best thing you can do is look at similar business online and take ideas from them and come up with your own solution that will help you get noticed.
