201 PointsHi, I was kind of lost when you began talking about declaring variables and adding clicklistner for the button.
I have done some programming back in high school(HTML, Java, Visual Basic) so I know the very basics of programming. But I can't exactly recall class, method and stuff. I was wondering does this begineer course have any prerequestioes or not? Should I learn Java before attempting this course? thanks,

201 PointsShould I take the Java beginner track? Do I need to become a Java expert? Will that give me enough knowledge to become an expert android developer?

14,817 PointsUhm... well it helps I would say.
It's a nice start into Android but becoming an expert Android developer takes more than a 30h course ;)

14,817 PointsYES!!!!
Do the Java Basics course. The android courses will make much more sense after that! Also those courses are pretty fast pase, so following along and learning both Java and the specialities of Android is not that good of an idea imho!
Do the Java course and then the Android ones. :)
