Hi, I am stuck with this task challenge Task 2 of 2

Challenge Task 2 of 2

Change the color of the h1 tag to purple. Bummer! You need to set the 'color' property of h1 elements to 'purple' (without quotes) !doctype html> <html> <head> <link href="styles.css" rel="stylesheet"> </head> <body>

They want you to change the color within the external styles.css file not an inline style change.

Place this in your CSS file.

h1 {
  color: purple;
}

Also, your inline style change is incorrect for what you'd be going for.
