5,342 PointsHi all, I am on a coding challenge about a media query and I believe my code is correct but the challenge disagrees.
Can anyone help? The question and code is as follows:
create a new media query that targets all devices when the viewport width is 768px or narrower. Inside the media query, target the .title element and set the font-size to 1.4rem. Finally, target the h1 element and set its font-size to 5rem.
@media (max-width: 768px) { .title { font-size: 1.4rem; } .h1 { font-size: 5rem; } }
/* Complete the challenge by writing CSS below */
@media (max-width: 1020px) {
.main-header {
background-color: tomato;
color: white;
}
}
@media (max-width: 768px) {
.title {
font-size: 1.4rem;
}
.h1 {
font-size: 5rem;
}
}

Your code is correct, except you have a period in front of the h1
selector. In this way, the compiler is looking for a class named h1. h1
is an element and is selected just with its name.
Delete the period and you're good to go.
Keep Coding! :)

4,760 PointsYou have turned the h1 element into a class because you have put a fullstop before it, so change to just being h1 and you should be fine
