Hey, I'm having trouble getting past task 2 of this challenge. I've been stuck here for a long time. Can anyone help me?

class RaceCar:

laps = 0

def __init__(self, color,  fuel_remaining, **kwargs):
    self.color = color
    self.fuel_remaining = fuel_remaining

    for key, value in kwargs.items():
        setattr(self, key, value)

def run_lap(self, length):
    self.length = (fuel_remaining - (length * 0.125))
    laps = self.laps + 1
racecar.py

Hello,

In run_lap, you have to set fuel_remaining to a new value and not length.

Let me know if this helps!

The instructions state: "It should reduce the fuel_remaining attribute by the length argument multiplied by 0.125 (length * 0.125)."

So fuel_remaining should be reduced every time run_lap is used. As it is right now, your code is reducing length and not fuel_remaining.

Also, you can use -= for fuel_remaining and += for laps to shorten the code.
