Hey dear team, why can't I use template literal here? My code has an error: Unexpected token ILLEGAL Thanks, Shelly

const https = require("https");

let request = https.get("https://teamtreehouse.com/chalkers.json", response => { console.log(response.statusCode); });

request.on('error', error => { console.error(Problem is ${error.message}!); //this line causes error });

app.js
const https = require("https");

let request = https.get("https://teamtreehouse.com/chalkers.json", response => {
  console.log(response.statusCode);
});

request.on('error', error => {
  console.error(`Problem is ${error.message}!`);
});

Your code would certainly work, but it varies from what was asked for.

The final task says: Finally, in the error callback, use the error method on the console to print out the error message.

So the challenge isn't expecting a string containing the error, just the error message itself:

  console.error(error.message);
