help with this challenge please

Not sure how or why this isnt compiling any ideas?

Hey Chad,

Everything looks great except for a couple of things, both in your getRemainingCharacterCount() function.

  • .length is a method, and therefore needs the () after the call.
  • you are referencing a variable mText which does not exist in this code. (Maybe you mean text?)

Give is another go with those in mind.
