12,864 PointsHello.
Several issues. Corrected below.
- missed a semi colon
- "}" and "else" on two separate lines
- had a random "("
- had a random "."
I formatted your code a bit too.
//missed a semi-colon
var answer= prompt('what is the best programming language?');
if(answer.toUpperCase()==="JAVASCRIPT"){
//had an extra (
//had a random period
alert("You are correct");
//had your else and } on two separate lines
} else {
alert("JavaScript is the best language!");
}

12,864 PointsOh, you had a space between your "alert" and your "(" but I dont know if that would have caused an error. I removed it.
