Help on Challenge in Track #2 of JavaScript and the DOm

I wrote the following code:

const button = document.getElementByID('sayPhrase');

was there something extra I was supposed to do/

Hi Victoria Hsieh,

There’s nothing extra that you have to do for this challenge. The issue you’re running into has to do with the method you’re calling on the document object. You’ve spelled it incorrectly, and so it’s not working the way you’re thinking it is. It’s an easy syntax error/mistake to make.
