Hello AJ,

Thanks for attempting this challenge, this is how we learn

Part One

You hacked this part, you should feel proud.

public void addTile(char tile) {
    // TODO: Add the tile to tiles
    tiles += tile;

  }

Part Two So all you need to do is to loop through character or letters on tiles using for-loop . You can use toCharArray().length method to establish the number/length of tiles array although we obviously know it to be seven tiles.

Next is the String's indexOf() method which returns 0 or number greater than 0 . This method returns the index within this string of the first occurrence of the specified character or -1, if the character does not occur. So the code will loop through the tiles and return true if letters match.

Please see my code below;

public boolean hasTile(char tile) {

   for( int i = 0; i < tiles.toCharArray().length; i++  ){
     return ( tiles.indexOf(tile) >= 0);
   }

    return false;
  }

Hope this helps.
