Help!! I'm trying to download WordPress manually, but Filezilla is not compatible with the Google Chromebook.

I have a Google Chromebook but I can't download the filezilla software to manually install Wordpress. Any suggestions??

There is in fact an ftp client for chrome os. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/sftp-client-ftp-sftp-ssh/jajcoljhdglkjpfefjkgiohbhnkkmipm

it has a free trial and is only $3 once the trial ends.

Try ChrUbuntu! It's much better than Chrome OS, anyway

terrible recommendation especially considering that this isn't compatible with all chromebooks. besides, why on earth would you recommend installing a completely different operating system when there are much less convoluted solutions?

Because you can't install anything on ChromeOS, so it's literally your only option. Also, I don't think typing in one command is very convoluted
