In an interactive Python session:

# to get help use
help()
# to get help on the type str use
help(str)
# to get help on the method upper of the type str use
help(str.upper)

This is the correct answer. (STR.upper) and not (str.upper). The author in the video is referring to the STR and not str in the older version of Python.

This is not correct. Kenneth is referring to the built-in str object (lowercase). All videos are intended to reference Python 3.

Still not correct. Please do not simply repost your answer.

The answer on the quiz fill-in blank asked for the upper syntax for the stringSTR) which the author made mention of. I answered with the lower (str.upper) and it returned as incorrect time and time again. i just got a email notice from Treehouse awarding me 9 points for my answer to the quiz question. Hope that helps and clarifies!
