Having trouble finding the right code to select all the odd "li" without changing the first "li" which is also odd.

I have the correct pseudo name just not the right argument I believe.

style.css
/* Complete the challenge by writing CSS below */
li:first-child {
  color:white;
}

li:last-child {
  color:azure;
}

li:nth-child(even) {
  background-color: dodgerblue;
}

li:nth-child(3,5,7,9) {
  color:cornflowerblue;

}
index.html

The instructions say to select the odd items, and to change the background color (not the "color"):

li:nth-child(odd) {
  background-color: cornflowerblue;
}
