Hi! You're very close here. But two things and one is just the challenge being picky. First, you don't need the str in the format. You don't have any variable named str. Secondly, (and this is the picky part) the "L" in loves should not be capitalized. It will cause the challenge to fail. Take a look at what you need:

name = "widi"
subject = "Treehouse loves {}".format(name)

This will take the value stored in the variable name and put it where the curly braces are. This is an example of string interpolation. Good luck!
