Following the course with Bitnami

Are there any restrictions to a self hosted Bitnami Wordpress stack that would prevent me from following along the course (How to Make a WordPress Blog) wtih out paying the money for hosting\domain?

Thanks!

You should be good, downloading VMs from TurnKey Linux (or Bitami) is by far the best way to learn (or try out) new platforms.

So far as I'm concerned there is a laundry list of advantages to developing in a VM, having a VM for learning Linux command line, one for learning PHP, one for Wordpress experimentation, one for learning Ruby on Rails.

Cheers James!

At first I read "Turkey Linux" hehe...

Again, thanks!
