fixing script

i tried a semicolon after the var today and its not working,what am i getting wrong?

var today =  'Friday'

if ( money >= 100 || today === 'Friday' ) {
  alert("Time to go to the theater")   
} else if ( money >= 50 || today === 'Friday' ) {
  alert("Time for a movie and dinner")

  alert("Time for a movie");   
} else if ( today !== 'Friday' ) {
  alert("It's Friday, but I don't have enough money to go out");

It's the conditions you should focus on.

  • Hint 1: Does || seem to be the correct operator for this situation?
  • Hint 2: Does today !== 'Friday' make sense in this case?
