Hello, I am at a lost as to why this isnβt working. Could someone help me out?
let myList = document.querySelector('ul');
let firstListItem = document.getElementById('#first');
myList.removeChild(firstListItem);

or getElementsByClassName
you do not need the #
or '.' prefix as we already know it is an Id or a class that we want to get, so we just need the text after the prefix.
So in your code example, if you update it as below:
let myList = document.querySelector('ul');
let firstListItem = document.getElementById('first');
myList.removeChild(firstListItem);
you should now be OK, hope this helps :)
