HTML How to Make a Website Adding Pages to a Website Add a New Page

File order wrong

This might be a stupid question, but how can I move my files into a different order? For some reason when I create new .html files for my website, they just go beneath my other folders instead of jumping to the top like in the video, and remain just above my index.html file. It's making it a bit annoying because I have to go over to the file and click it in order to work on the page instead of clicking on tabs in the workspace I'm in.

I'm guessing you are referring to workspaces? It should be in alphabetical order in the sidebar if that's what you are talking about. When you make a file, it should automatically open a new tab. I don't think it will automatically switch to that tab though.

Yes, in workspaces. The files aren't automatically going into alphabetical order then, they're just all going to the bottom of the list before the index file in the sidebar. And it does open a new tab, but not beside the other tabs I'm working on. It seems to open another window...like the video has all the index, contact, and about.html, and main.css tabs all beside each other, but mine aren't.
