Facebook not pulling right description while sharing

Hi everyone,

thanks for taking your time to read this. I have a problem with my site when i try to share it on Facebook. It doesn't pull the right description. only the website title. I have added yoast SEO and Facebook Open Graph, but it just doesn't seem to work. It pulls the image i specified in the plugin, but not the description. Any tips?

Hi Sebastian,

Using Yoast SEO is helpful to specify the description and image. Make sure other plugins are not interfering with the same thing. You can always use the Facebook Sharing debugger to see what Facebook sees on your page Purging sometimes can be helpful to pick up the new changes if you are trying it for the same page. - https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/
