6,851 PointsExplanation of a Question
I don't understand this question:
What is the data type of the constant today? let today = Day(rawValue: 1)
I thought when you create an enum, you give it a type by doing this:
enum Day { // member variables } I don't understand how it is an optional type. Could you give an in-depth explanation of this?
Thanks, Sahil Gangele

2,068 PointsWhen you create an Enum you are making a new data type. In this case the data type would be Day, and all the members of Day, are data type Day. Hope that makes sense to you.
