3,436 PointsExplaining the outcome of a JavaScript cod
There is this code in the quiz:
do {
console.log('Hello');
} while (false)
console.log('Goodbye');
The question was: what is the outcome of this code?
My answer was Hello
. It was wrong because it's saying that Goodbye
is printed one time as well. I didn't understand why Goodbye
is printed. Can you explain why?

231,275 PointsThe "Goodbye" is not part of any loop or conditional.
You did good spotting that because it's a "do" style loop, the "Hello" gets printed one time even though the condition is false.
But the "Goodbye" message comes after the loop, so no matter what happens in the loop, it will be printed last.
