I'm getting an error that only 3 words are coming back. Am i not using the right escape character?

escapes.py
import re

def first_number(string):
    string = re.search(r'\d', string)
    return string

def numbers(count, string):
    pattern = re.search(r'\w' * count, string)
    return pattern

The example of "multiplying" a string shows it being done to a word character ("\w").

But the instructions say the function should be looking for numbers.
