Error while importing partials

I did exactly the same command in a different directory and seemed to work fine but facing error while trying to reproduce.

I am using @import with a single quote for the path and ending with ; but getting the following error.

error scss/s-global.scss (Line 5: Invalid CSS after "...artials/footer'": expected "{", was ";")

Anyone kindly assist
