I donβt understand how the em tag changes the meaning of a word. I just know that it change the appearance of the text in italic and that it gives to the word an emphasis meaning. Is someone able to give me more information? Thanks in advance!

Treehouse Project ReviewerHi, I believe it's more for semantic purposes, usually for the visually impaired, to give an emphasised meaning to your text.
However, you wouldn't use this tag just to give your text an italic appearance, you would use CSS for that such as the font-style property.
The <i> tag creates italic text. So there is a difference in when to use in the scenarios.
