2,201 PointsElse if Clause is Reaching the Else statement
I've been on this challenge for a while now and I can't figure out how to fix it.
const money = 9;
const today = 'Friday'
if ( money > 10 && today === 'Friday' ) {
alert("Time to go to the theater.");
} else if ( money >= 50 && today === 'Friday' ) {
alert("Time for a movie and dinner.");
} else if ( today === 'Friday' && money ==! 9 ) {
alert("It's Friday, but I don't have enough money to go out.");
} else {
alert("This isn't Friday. I need to stay home.");
}

232,176 PointsYou're really close, and have already fixed most of the issues. But for the final test (the one about "I don't have enough moneyβ¦"), you won't want to check for an amount of money not equal to 9, since 9 itself is also not enough to go out.
But since you've already determined that the money is not 10 or more (in the first condition), you only need to check the day this time.
