Easy WP SMTP - Extension missing: openssl?

Hello,

I am following along with the wordpress course.

I have installed desktopserver and installed wordpress on my computer.

I downloaded the plugin Easy WP SMTP and filled in the data as per the instructions.

I get the above error message when sending a test mail and do not receive mail.

I have searched around and tried the tsl way with no success.

Is this something with a known fix?

Hi Craig, I had the same problem for a test site.. Updating to the latest version is the suggested solution by the Author!

Hi Jonas, the version I have installed for the plugin is 1.2.2.

This appears to be the latest but same problem?
