I don't remember how they did it in the example. Can someone help with this.

You have all the syntax correct, but it is not exactly what the instruction ask you to do. Challenges are very specific and need to be followed exactly, or you will likely receive the Bummer
. So, though your code is syntactically correct and will work... the instructions say to "use .format() on the string "Treehouse loves {}", but you are using it on a variable. Just delete the last line and use format()
directly on the string.
