Download ServerPress on Ubuntu

How can I download a DesktopServer on Linux Ubuntu?? Please help me!

Hi,

Unfortunately I don't think there is a Linux version of DesktopServer, there are other options out there and the simplest one would be to install a LAMP stack like what is explained on this post: http://www.wpexplorer.com/locally-install-wordpress-on-ubuntu/

This will basically install you what on windows is XAMMP and Mac OS MAMP.

The guys that run ServerPress who make DesktopServer are great so you could contact them and they may be able to point you in the direction of a good local dev environment for Linux.

Other than that hit the WordPress stack exchange there will certainly be someone on there running local installs on Linux.
