Hi Saeed,

The issue was that you put the anchor values outside the anchor tag.

Your code

    <li> <a href="cakes.html"><a/>Cakes</li>
    <li> <a href="pies.html"><a/>Pies</li>
    <li> <a href="candy.html"><a/>Candy</li>

Should be 

    <li> <a href="cakes.html">Cakes<a/></li>
    <li> <a href="pies.html">Pies<a/></li>
    <li> <a href="candy.html">Candy<a/></li>
