3,295 PointsHi Joe, well, I don't exactly what's the problem that you're facing.
But, I found a problem with your code that's easy to fix.
In the method nRestoreInstanceState, you're setting the "val" to the your text view. That's the problem, when you try to set a text in a text view, you have to put in the method a String variable, and in your code you're using a int variable.
To fix it, you just have to convert the int to a variable, you can do it easily using the method String.valueOf( int value).
In your code, that would be like mTextView.setText(String.valueOf(val));
