7,126 PointsDoesn't work. How outdated is this course?
I tried a different browser, removing default and turning subtitles in the video, nothing works. Why is all this material so old? Does it not get updated after years of things changing? It's probably something wrong with my code after all this, but it would be great not to have that grey area of ambiguity all the time that i might be learning something that is obsolete now.

8,359 PointsIt's hard to say whether there is an issue with your code, as you did not paste it, but I can say that I launched the workspace for the course, added the <track> element as described by the instructor, and it worked for me. The only difference I experienced is that my embedded video player did not show the 'CC' button like the instructor's, though the video did play with the subtitles by default. To disable the captioning, I had to click a button that had 3 dots on it, and the option for captions was listed there.

17,352 PointsI am confirming it works and I tried it today, Dec 4th 2021. After checking my html code, I checked the vtt file and had an issue. The vtt file I had was .vtt.txt so just check and make sure the extension and filename is correct.
