Doesn't accept arrow functions?

I try to stick with arrow functions when possible but this challenge doesn't seem to accept them. Does this not work?

$('.student-list').on( 'click', (e) => {
// click handler goes here
}
);

The instructions require that you enter 'event' and not 'e'
