Does Swift require OOP, in order to have a higher level of functionality than Protocol Oriented Programing?

I guess I'm wondering, what do you lose, if you try to strictly use Swift's Protocol Orientated programing. Does Swift's Protocol Orientated programing require Object Oriented Programming to function efficiently?
